Designated as the Maid of Honor I’m responsible to organize or atleast initiate a bridal shower for the bride-to-be. How can I organize an event kung yung kasama kong nag-oorganize ang bibigyan ng party? Nagpapanic na ako ng very very light pero kebs lang. I would often ask the bride what bridal showers she wants, who are the guests, and even what she wants to wear (haha, takot mapagalitan ng bride!). She really wanted a Tea Party – Cath Kidston theme, loud and clear! Lels. I really wanted it to be a surprise party, matagal na nyang gusto magkaron ng surprise party. How can we pull this off? Luckily, they found out Vanilla Cupcake Bakery located at Tomas Morato (it’s the same as the one in Trinoma, but it’s bigger and has a separate room for events). The venue is perfect for the tea party x cath kidston vibes; venue – Php 10,000 consumable good for 3 hours. Continue reading
Yup, will try to conquer it for the second time ‘coz the first one was kind of fail (haha). I’m with Marj, Ali, Mats, and others (sorry guys, I forgot your names) and it will be a long ride from Bulacan to Benguet, left at around 10 PM (March 18) and arrived at Benguet at around 3:30AM (March 19), matapos magkaligaw ligaw papuntang jump-off. Good thing a guide (Jeka) was walking in those wee hours we’re able to ask for directions and offered her a ride since we’re going to the same place. We’re the first batch to arrive at the place, as per locals trek starts at 4-4:30 AM. Continue reading
Together with my college friends (Ali and Meyeh) we planned to go to Maculot, but due to bad weather and body aches (signs of aging na ba ito?) last March 4 we didn’t push thru. Desperately wanted to climb muntik na kaming mapunta sa Mt.Sawi, Mt. Sembrano, Mt. Kayangkayangan, Mt. Tagapo, at lahat na ng maisip naming bundok but we just agreed to not leave for the weekend and have it rescheduled the following week – March 11.
Sunday midnight and we’re off to Batangas, matapos lumagpas sa pick-up points at magkanda ligaw ligaw papuntang jump-off. Thank you Waze for guiding us, maliligaw ka talaga considering na looban ang place and madilim pa. Jump-off is at the Mountaineer’s Store; foods are available and use of CRs. We opted to do the traverse upon registration, and then a guide was assigned to us – Jimboy. After registration we still need to drive a few minutes to start our trek. Continue reading
I first heard of Masungi Georeserve way back in 2015; right there and then I wanted to go and experience what they have to offer. After countless attempts of convincing people to come with me and after almost 2 years, I finally booked a trail visit. Visit www.masungigeoreserve.com for more info. Continue reading
It all started with just a normal conversation, “Tara punta tayong Bohol.” Then, there I was looking for a promo fare and impulsively booked a trip to Bohol for three (Me, Carla, and Ken). Since were on a budget we’re doing a DIY trip (as always); there’s a lot of things to do in Bohol but since we’re just staying for a short period of time we just did what we can to maximize our stay and here’s what we did on our Bohol trip. Fudtriperz – that’s my highschool barkada’s name, I know hindi sya pag-it girls levels! (LOL) Eto yung jejemon phase namin. From the root word “food trip” modify the letters “oo” to “u” and add “erz” to make it more jeje (haha).
This trip is literally 10 years in the making. So, to make things special we decided to go on an out-town-trip to celebrate our decade long friendship. Off we go to Tagaytay for our weekend getaway, it was like highschool all over again. Yung feeling na fieldtrip kinabukasan, di ka makatulog sa excitement. Continue reading
January 8 – Initially our plan was to attend the Manila Color Run but the available tickets when we’re about to book were the one for the 10k run (hindi kaya ng powers ng mga tita ito!haha). Considering it’s a Sunday we decided to attend The Feast at PICC, let’s claim it. It is our Best Year Ever! Continue reading
