TAGAYTAY 2014

Fudtriperz – that’s my highschool barkada’s name, I know hindi sya pag-it girls levels! (LOL) Eto yung jejemon phase namin. From the root word “food trip” modify the letters “oo” to “u” and add “erz” to make it more jeje (haha).

This trip is literally 10 years in the making. So, to make things special we decided to go on an out-town-trip to celebrate our decade long friendship. Off we go to Tagaytay for our weekend getaway, it was like highschool all over again. Yung feeling na fieldtrip kinabukasan, di ka makatulog sa excitement. Continue reading

HOLIDAY HIKE + ISLAND SIDE TRIP: MT. GULUGOD BABOY + FORTALEZ ISLAND

This is a long overdue post due to laziness, it’s been on my draft posts since December (Nagexplain talaga ako?haha).

I’ve been planning to go to Mt.Gulugod Baboy since July; 4 months in the making and 2 times na naudlot (haha); finally natuloy din. I’ve been curious about Mt.Gulugod Baboy (Pig’s Spine), tuwang tuwa ako sa pangalan nya that I searched  how to do a DIY trip (as usual, DIY forever!). Together with my college friend, her friend, her friend’s officemates, her sister, and her sister’s officemates off we go to Anilao, Batangas on a holiday (November 30 – Bonifacio Day). WHAT HAPPENED OVER THE WEEKEND

Friday (September 9)

Movie date with Marj – we’ve been planning to watch Camp Sawi opening palang but because of our busy schedules (more of no budget) hindi kami matuloy tuloy. Malapit ng mawala yung movie sa cinemas bago pa kami nakapanood. It’s a good movie, sobrang nakakatawa with a lot of hugot, lessons and realizations (relate much ka ba beh?haha). Continue reading

ATTEMPTED TO HIKE MT.ULAP

It was raining hard on a Friday night up to Saturday morning but we still insisted to travel up north. We’re so impatient so off we to go to an adventure (haha). We (Carla, Ken, Ga, and I) took the DAU to Baguio route, it took us 6-7 hours of travel (gusto nyo yan ah,haha) while Marj and Kenny took the Cubao to Baguio route. Cold breeze with rain showers welcomed us to Baguio, but we’re not losing hope the sun will still shine tomorrow morning (sinong niloloko namin?haha). We had dinner at Green Pepper Ketchup Food Community; had some photo ops ‘coz we have the second floor all to ourselves. Umpisa palang picture na ng picture (all pictures used are not mine, phone camera is not cooperating). Good thing we found a place for the night for a reasonable price with accommodating owner at Gabriela Silang. Continue reading

FRIDATE MISADVENTURES

We (Marj and I) purchased a Kerabond Treatment Promo at Metrodeal, and the rest is history (haha). We scheduled our salon date last August 6, but due to work related matters we need to have it rescheduled. Lo and behold when I called Mary Pauline-Timog (na napakahirap tawagan both landline and cellphon, after 1000x of dialing finally someone answered) we have no schedule for that day. Anyare mga teh? Ipapa-reschedule ko din naman, kaso what happened to our previous appointment? Continue reading

BACKPACK DIARIES: LEYTE BE THE ONE

Anong isasagot mo pag tumawag ang Nanay mo at sinabing nagbook sya ng flight papuntang Tacloban? Oo ka nalang, well she’s impulsive like that. After booking our flight, she then told me “Gawa ka ng itinerary natin”.  Yup, another DIY trip.

Tacloban trip was last March, we’re with one of her officemates and her daughter that makes us five. Two elders, two teens, and me; make that three teenagers. LOL Continue reading
