BEST YEAR EVER (Week 1) – IMPROMPTU MANILA TOUR

January 8 – Initially our plan was to attend the Manila Color Run but the available tickets when we’re about to book were the one for the 10k run (hindi kaya ng powers ng mga tita ito!haha). Considering it’s a Sunday we decided to attend The Feast at PICC, let’s claim it. It is our Best Year Ever!

Titas Feasting

While having lunch we decided to do an impromptu Manila Tour. Yes, we’re not so tita that day (haha). As the talk says you just need to imagine to achieve it and paint your future and you will become what you wanted to be. So, where to go? Biglaang gawa ng itinerary; Intramuros – Fort Santiago – National Musuem – Luneta Park. So, yung 10k run na hindi namin pinuntahan parang ganon din ata ginawa naming lakad (haha), we’re on a tight budget so we opted for public transpo and if we can lakad lang talaga.

First stop: Intramuros

Walkathon and photo-ops around Intramuros, visited two churches; San Agustin and Manila Cathedral (with on-going weddings at that time). There were a lot of pedicabs and kalesas that offer tour but we decided not to, kaya na namin to,haha.

Second Stop: Fort Santiago (Hanggang Entrance lang)

Because we’re on a budget (very tight budget) hanggang labas lang kami may entrance fee kasi na 50 pesos (haha, antagal naming nagisip kung tutuloy pa ba kami). Just had to take picture at the I Love Manila sign.

I ♥ MANILA

Break Muna: Mc Donald’s

The titas were out of energy so we have our caffeine fix.

Third Stop: National Musuem (Cancelled)

We’re not able to do this one ‘coz hapon na pasara na malamang ang National Musuem.

Fourth Stop: Luneta Park

Last stop would be Luneta Park, we just have to because I can’t remember I’ve ever been to Luneta Park (seriously, di ko maalala na nagpunta ako dito nung bata ako). There were a lot (as in a lot) of people there and there’s an on-going mass and people are preparing para sa Pista ng Nazareno the day after. Went inside the Chinese Garden, 20 lang entrance fee kaya pasok sa budget! (haha). Wala din naman kami napala, madilim na and wala talaga, haha. We just have to take a turista post with Jose Rizal (with the famous photobomber) while watching the dusk.
